Moving Planet: Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011

Join the IC Environmental Society (ICES) this Saturday for Moving Planet, an international day of action to move beyond fossil fuels. We'll bike, bus, skateboard, and walk to the Farmers' Market to get some local food, and then bike to Stewart Park via the Cayuga Waterfront Trail to have a delicious picnic!

If you don't have a bike, or want to put your bike on the bus to get back to IC, a limited number of one-day TCAT bus passes are available, first come, first served. Email me know if you want one: mkeatin1@ithaca.edu.

Just look at the ICES eboard (most of us)... we're so ready!

Later in the evening we'll head to Earthdance, an international festival of music and dance for world peace. Some of us are biking there - we'll meet at Emily's Circle (150-08) at 4:30pm. If you don't have a bike, Jeremy will be driving at 6 (978.514.2272) and Allison will be driving at 8 (646.236.4144).

RSVP/more details here.

Hope to see you there!
