Volunteer Opportunity: Black Diamond Trail Blazing


Want to help clear brush and small trees from a trail that may potentially be Ithaca's best biking area, the Black Diamond Trail?

The trailblazing excursion will consist of cutting down and clearing excess tree branches and bushes from this local bike trail. Our natural parks have been asking for help clearing this overgrown trail for some time. For more information, and to sign up, the website is: www.bdtrailblazing.com.

The volunteer day will be Sunday, October 16th.

Meet at Roy H. Park School of Communications
Shift 1: 11am-1pm (meet at 10:30am)
Shift 2: 1-3pm (meet at 12:30pm)
Area of trail clearing: Gorge Rd. to Kraft Rd.
